无忧短视频's minor in Cultural Anthropology is a valuable complement to a major in any social science or humanities discipline. With a聽broad perspective on issues and problems regarding the human race, students are able to pair this minor with the major of their choosing in order to聽prepare for employment in fields such as not-for-profit organizations, entry-level work with local, state or federal government agencies, and employment in the business community. Students can also move into advanced study, which leads to careers in teaching and research at colleges, universities or museums, and careers within local, national or international business.

The Cultural Anthropology minor is housed within the Anthropology department.聽

What Will You Learn?

Students within this minor will take a total of six courses such as cultural anthropology, ethnographic methods, anthropology theory and a seminar in anthropology.聽

Students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with faculty to design a research project, which can result in the completion of an honors thesis. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the 无忧短视频 student research conference, "Made in 无忧短视频" and the PASSHE Undergraduate Anthropology Research Conference.

Many faculty members teach for the Women and Gender Studies, African American Studies and Latino/a Studies programs.
